Ana Lynch


I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) journalist and communications specialist with over six years of experience across journalism, public relations, marketing, research, and data analysis. Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats in the communications world, adapting to diverse roles and industries. I hold a master’s degree in Journalism from Florida International University and am currently pursuing a second master’s in Integrated Marketing from West Virginia University.

My Background

My work in the communications field has taken me across the country including cities like: Miami, New York, Denver and Charleston. As of now I currently live in Texas always moving between the San Antonio and Austin area. I have worked in various newsroom settings as news producer, digital content producer, and reporter. In 2022 I had the privilege to work as a field producer intern for the Latin Grammy’s.

I also  stepped into public relations and marketing as a PR Specialist with Carrera Digital in NYC where I contributed to strategic brand messaging, media outreach, and bilingual content creation for multicultural business startups.

I worked alongside the Miami Herald as a data analyst – collecting data bases and surveys along with fact checking. I have also expanded my work outside of the country during my time as a researcher for the Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center. I lived in Central America for a year investigating and studying the gangs of the Northern Triangle and analyzing the hierarchy platform and gender roles within gangs.

This was my not first time working outside of the country – I was also able to be part of the launching campaign of “The Her” initiative with Healing Waters International – by bringing clean water to the rural areas of Latin America and implementing the education of personal hygiene for women.

Over the years, I’ve learned to adapt across different cultures and roles—blending research, storytelling, and strategy to create thoughtful, effective work that resonates with a wide range of audiences, both locally and internationally.
